Note:  1. MTC is Module Certificate for which you write Examination and receive a Certificate during the period of your scholarship. 2. ATC/ABC is AFOVIC Technical Certificate/Business Certificate for which you write Examination and receive the Certificate at the end of your scholarship tenure before writing the NTC/NBC Examination. Consequently, you don’t need to choose the two as your courses of study.

BASIC REQUIREMENT

 

  1. (For Technical students who want to receive NTC, MTC and ATC ) A minimum of 5 passes including English, Mathematics, and Physics & Chemistry is Compulsory. Elective subjects are Economics, Geography, Biology, Literature-in-English, Information and Communication Technology, Civil Education and Agricultural Science.
  1. (For Technical students who want to receive NBC, MTC and ABC ) A minimum of 5 passes including English, Mathematics & Economics is Compulsory. Elective subjects are Commerce, Financial Accounting, Information and Communication Technology, Typewriting, Shorthand, Office Practice and Salesmanship.
  1. The compulsory General Education Subjects include: English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Literature-in-English, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Civil Education, General Wood Work, Building Engineering Drawing, Basic Electricity, Agricultural Science, Geography and Commerce.
  1. (For Technical Students who want to receive ANTC, ANBC) must produce NTC or NBC or its equivalent i.e. GCE, SSCE/WAEC etc. to qualify for ANTC/ANBC Admission.
  1. Primary School Certificate holders with verifiable testimonials are expected to sit for an internal entrance examination to qualify for NTC or NBC Admission.
  1. Pupil with Primary School Leaving certificate for Part-time must produce evidence of admission into Secondary School to qualify for NTC or NBC Admission.

NATURE OF PROGRAMMES

 

  1. Full Time Programme, for Technical students of the following categories:
  2. Pupil of Primary school leaving certificate will run for a minimum of 72 months.
  3. Students of JSS leaving certificate will run for a minimum of 36 months.
  4. Students of GCE, NECO and SSCE/WAEC with a minimum of 5 credits who is looking for one or more subjects to meet requirement to get admission into University will run NTC/NBC program for a minimum of 6 months while students with a minimum of 5 passes or below will run the program for a minimum of 8 months.
  5. Part time programme, for students of GCE, NECO and SSCE/WAEC with a minimum of 5 credits will run the program for a minimum of 10 months while students with minimum of 5 passes or below will run for a minimum period of 16 months.
  6. (For Academic students who want to receive Diploma in their courses) 5 credits including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science or Agriculture Science or Biology is compulsory.
  7. (For Technical Students who want to receive ANTC, ANBC and Advanced General Education Subjects):
  8. For those with NTC/NBC will run the program for 6 months.
  9. For those with GCE/WAEC Results etc will run the program for 10 months.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

  1. Interested Candidates are to pay the Application fee either through POS in our Office or make transfer or make direct payment to the Bank accounts stated below:

Then with the duplicate copy of the teller or Bank receipt, collect the application form at Afovic Ventures Office, km 3, Adeobe compound, along Abeokuta/Ibadan road, beside conoil petrol station, Obantoko, Abeokuta, Ogun state or

  1. Apply for admission online through the following process:
  1. Go to https://afotechedu.ng/students/register, Fill it up, print the confirmation page and pay the sum of #5, 000 application fees via Flutterwave.
  1. Additional details: After this, your student portal login details will be sent to your e-mail. Use this to upload your results and confirm your e-mail address. Didn’t get yours? Then you can re-visit, https://afotechedu.ng/students/register
  1. Admission Letter: After the filling and the uploading, you will have to print out your admission letter, bio-data and payment receipt.
  1. Admission List: After validating the authenticity of your data, a list of all admitted candidates will be listed on our portal. Make sure you always check our portal.
  1. Tuition Fees Payment: if you can find your name in the admission list, then congrats! You are now a student of Afotech! The next step is to pay your tuition fee. Login to your portal to pay.
  1. Student data and resumption: After tuition fee payment, the next is for you to fill up your students’ departmental data and other data’s, prepare your course form and then go for lectures!

No university and polytechnic in the country has the right to reject or discriminate against certificates issued by the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB).
